One of the main attractions at Leleana Resort is fishing.

Why?  It is all about location.

Strategically placed between the alluring ocean and the lakes of Kolombangara, we offer excellent surface fishing, right at your Bungalows doorstep.

You can witness first-hand… the giant trevally raids on the gathered baitfish, that swarm in the shallows. They are waiting!

Head out towards Double Island, over our coral reefs and lagoons, to experience catching a Bluefin trevally, red bass, a coral trout or the Māori wrasse.

Our Driver and diver, Alfred Thomas has been known to full this 'Giant Trevally' out of the Leleana ocean foreshore, by the tail, during the frenzy of a 'raid on the baitfish'.
