We had one of the best weeks of our lives visiting Leleana Eco Resort.
Lily took us in, welcomed us to her ancestors' land and treated us like part of the family, experiencing local villages, beautiful fresh fruit and seafood and a look into the history of Kolombangara Island.
If you are looking for a beautiful tropical paradise getaway that gives your mind, body and soul a reset, this is the place to book!
Situated in between a calm and peaceful saltwater lake and a pristine coral reef, it feels like a dream waking up each day.
The bungalows are right on the water, so you can hear the soft crashing of small waves as you go to sleep each night. We slept with our windows open, and mosquitoes were almost non-existent too!
We've never experienced a stay quite like this - especially to get the best of both worlds; a scenic lake on one side and beautiful ocean view on the other.
Being a family run resort, Leleana's tours involve many of the locals and it's fantastic to see our money was helping to support them too. Some highlights were the River Cruise, WW2 Tank, Village Tour, Island Hopping and Bird Watching.
*Staying at Leleana Eco Resort was truly an unforgettable experience that we will hold close to our hearts forever. It was extremely relaxing, beautiful, and everyone here was super friendly.
We had such a fulfilling stay and will be thinking about this holiday for a very long time!
Overall, a 10/10 experience and we will be back. Do not hesitate to book - it was truly amazing.
