Leleana Eco Resort... isn’t just a destination — it’s an experience.
Our Island of Kolombangara
is UNIQUE! Why?
Snorkeling right in front of your Bungalow. Fish galore!
Mande Magota Is. and Double Is. are just minutes away by boat. Snorkel or dive the sunken American warplane, the 'Hellcat', find a fascinating stingray amongst the myriads of fish varieties. Then hike the 'virgin forest' behind the lakes and Mt. Heribangara, right behind the Resort.
You are going to need at least 3 days! Don't miss out.
There is so much to do and see.
Latest Review: 'Pure nature. Stunning marine life.
Incredible sunsets. Beautiful, welcoming people.
We left feeling grateful and completely in awe'.

For those who appreciate war relics and/or snorkeling, there are a number of relics in the area. Stay at Leleana on Kolombangara, and you can be taken to these sites, including an underground hospital - not for those who may be claustrophobic.
-
Or just relax, or hike to the extinct volcano, or listen to the birds calling... In ONE word...PARADISE!
Please note:
Very important information for tourists and our guests travelling from Honiara to Leleana in the Western Province. The 'Pelican Express' is a 'one-day' ocean travelling experience including transit through the biggest lagoon in the world.
Departure is from Honiara every Friday morning at 6:00 am passing through Marovo lagoon.
It then stops at Seghe, then Noro and last stop over at Gizo. Make sure you have SBD cash with you as every stop-over has local markets selling cooked food like fresh fish, tapioca pudding with coconut cream and many local fruits to choose from.
Great way to see 'the West ' and venture to Leleana Resort, Kolombangara.
Leleana Resort Kolombangara isn’t just a destination — it’s an experience.
